Job Summary
As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you’ll be part of the Customer Success team, reporting directly to the Head of Customer Success. Your main goal? Identify, qualify, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities across our client base.
Your mission is to expand our footprint within existing accounts by building strong relationships, spotting opportunities for growth, and turning insights into revenue.
You’ll own the entire process, from identifying the opportunity to closing the deal, with a strong outbound focus. This means you’ll proactively reach out to existing customers via calls and emails to start conversations, understand their needs, and book meetings that lead to expansion.
About You
- You have experience in Sales or Customer Success (SaaS/B2B is a strong plus).
- You’re comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls every day and understand that persistence pays off.
- You work well with sales quotas and KPIs, and aim to consistently exceed them.
- You’re not discouraged by a “No” — it’s part of the journey.
- You’re organized, data-driven, and confident using CRM tools (especially HubSpot).
- You thrive in cross-functional environments and enjoy working collaboratively.
- You’re fluent in Portuguese and English (our internal language is English).
- Knowledge or experience in the insurance or employee benefits space.
The Role
As a KAM, you’ll be responsible for identifying, creating, and closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities across our existing portfolio of customers.
On a typical day, you will...
- Make a high volume of outbound calls to engage current customers, qualify leads, and book meetings.
- Partner with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to map accounts and uncover growth opportunities.
- Build and manage a pipeline of upsell and cross-sell deals, from discovery to closing. Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs and introduce tailored Coverflex solutions.
- Prepare and present compelling, value-driven proposals, and follow up on commercial discussions.
- Keep our CRM (HubSpot) fully updated with notes, progress, and next steps.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics likewin rates, pipeline velocity, and closed-won deals.
- Consistently hit (or exceed) sales targets and team goals.
Salary range
Our compensation is based on annual company cost, which for this role ranges from €33,000 to €40,000, depending on your experience.
That typically translates to a gross annual salary of around €24,000 to €29,000, plus variable compensation (30%) and a full range of benefits you can check below.
