⚡ Reality Check - What Makes This Role Hard
Let’s be real - here’s what makes this role challenging:
Coverflex is simple to use, but achieving that simplicity requires working through complex topics and concepts. You’ll often face problems that are easy to understand on the surface but challenging to translate into an intuitive user experience. Curiosity and the ability to ask the right questions will be essential to succeed.
👤 You
Must-haves (evidence, not years)
- Well experienced in product design, namely with shipping user-facing features or products;
- You are able to conduct exploratory user research, setup and conduct usability testing sessions;
- You are obsessed with user problems and in understating root causes, and you place user research at heart of any discovery process;
- You are comfortable with design processes and methodologies, you are capable to adapt frameworks to different realities, you continuously welcome and try new approaches;
- You proactively share information, actively request and provide feedback, and facilitate communication for multiple stakeholders (Ex: internal teams & external users).
- You have full professional proficiency in English.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in the benefits, fintech, or welfare market;
- Familiarity with SaaS;
- Experience in in high-growth B2B SaaS and/or Marketplaces and mobile-first design experience.
🧬 Your DNA
- You believe “good enough” is better than perfect. You know where to focus your time and energy, and you care about outcomes and impact—not processes or perfectionism.
- You’re a go-getter. You don’t wait for others to push you; you proactively search, learn, and improve. Autonomy is key to how you operate.
- You work iteratively and stay curious. You seek feedback early and often to validate hypotheses and avoid building in the dark.
- You know when to take feedback on board and when to trust your own judgment.
- You’re flexible and adaptable. The company moves fast and evolves quickly, and you’re able to shift focus and support changes while keeping the long-term vision in sight.
- You question things and apply critical thinking to your reasoning.
- You are thoughtful, observant, and smart about identifying gaps—and filling them with their experience, expertise, and ownership.
You’ll probably find this frustrating if…
- You prefer waiting for instructions, requirements, or direction instead of moving ahead;
- You prefer and organised environment without much chaos.
